Cobacan™ is expected to be the first and only drug suitable for completely replacing vitamin B12 injections. Cobacan™ is a cherry-flavored sublingual lozenge formulated to dissolve in five to seven minutes. Cobacan not only gets cobalamin levels up as fast as injections, but it maintains those levels longer. Cobacan™, by generating cobalamin serum levels that cannot be achieved with any currently available supplements or drugs, will be the only substitute for painful and invasive IM injections of cobalamin.
