Glia is operating at the intersection of commerce and personal beliefs. We aim to empower our users to vote with their dollars by connecting them with businesses that share their social, economic and political values. People are more passionate than ever about their values. They want to support the causes they believe in, while ensuring that they aren’t unknowingly working against the things they care most about. Each of us have causes that are deal-makers or deal-breakers, which will have us go out of our way to patronize certain businesses, and will stop us from ever darkening the door of others. Glia shows our users how a business’ values compare with their own. Our platform has an iOS app in the App Store and a soon-to-be-completed web app. Glia points people to those businesses that share their values and away from those that don’t. In the process, we're developing a unique and robust data set.
