iWinks' first product is Aurora - a sleep-sensing headband that enables mindfulness during dreams with a corresponding free app. Aurora works by presenting subtle audio/visual stimuli during REM sleep to augment dreamscapes and allow the user to direct their own dreams. Inspired by scientifically-validated lucid dream induction methods, Aurora's patent-pending design takes dream augmentation to a whole new level. Aurora was successfully kickstarted last year and is collecting preorders for initial product launch in 2015/16 after a 3-year bootstrapping phase.
