Orphaned

How can technology be used to help the Orphans of the world? That is a problem Orphaned - together with you - tries to solve. Initially, we'd like to create a Mobile app that presents photograph and stories of the orphaned children from around the world and connects the users with organizations that supports this population. This project is dedicated to bringing difficult social issues to light, so that people may see what is not being covered by the mainstream media and use technology to contribute towards a solution. Countries represented thus far: Haiti, Romania, Ukraine, Russia, Moldova, Transister, Uganda, Kenya, Democratic Republic of Congo, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, Brazil.
