Our radio-as-a-service (RaaS) solution makes it possible to deploy, upgrade and maintain cellular networks with dramatically lower CAPEX and OPEX, accelerating new deployments and enabling profitable densification of the existing ones. In our RaaS paradigm, there is no need for traditional cellular base stations, equipped with expensive, power-hungry, and difficult-to-upgrade hardware. Any place where IP network access is available can host a simpler "client" RaaS base station, as RaaS makes it possible to perform all complex operations remotely, with software-defined virtual base stations running in the cloud. The RaaS paradigm enables adaptive self-optimization of the network, based on the latency, throughput, and load of the IP connections between the RaaS nodes. Moreover, thanks to its centralized processing proposition, the RaaS framework enables implementation of advanced techniques for intercell interference coordination and mitigation, thus significantly improving capacity.
