About
Ali Gilmore was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer in the fall of 2010. She knew the odds of survival were unlikely, but she was determined. After 18 months of intensive treatments, she was in remission and taking note of all she'd learned in order to smooth the road ahead for other cancer fighters and their loved ones. It's been over two years and remissions since the first book. Ali is currently writing a sequel and is on a mission to make millions of people around the world less afraid of cancer and better prepared to face it. She is reaching out for funding to successfully promote the book. What people are saying about the C Card and Me: “Ali you are a breath of fresh air. Your book is very compelling, relevant and funny.” – Timber Jim Serrill, Legendary Mascot for the Portland Timbers “This book should be in every Doctor’s office and a part of every cancer patient’s care package.
